Minecraft:Tall Birch Hills
More actions
Template:UnobtainableTemplate:Removed feature Template:Infobox biome The tall birch hills or birch forest hills mutated biome is a rare variant of the Minecraft:birch forest that no longer generates since Minecraft:Caves & Cliffs: Part II, and was removed in Java Edition.
Description
Old
Like the other hills biomes, the tall birch hills biome had hillier, rougher terrain, along with the taller birch trees of the Minecraft:tall birch forest variant. The hills were steep in this biome, comparable to the Minecraft:windswept hills biome.
Unlike most hills biomes, this biome used to generate as a "modified hills" biome, making it much rarer but also bigger in size.
Current
Template:IN, tall birch hills in older worlds still received updates. When generated through Minecraft:single biome or Minecraft:behavior packs, they can also generate new blocks.
They appear similarly to the old tall birch hills. Unlike regular old growth birch forests, Minecraft:wildflowers do not generate here, although Minecraft:bushes do. Minecraft:Trail ruins do not generate either, and no birch forest Minecraft:music tracks play.
Mobs
Tall birch hills use the same mob spawning chances as birch forests.
