The ATLS (Assisted Transport and Loading System)<ref name="LM2412">Template:Cite RSI</ref> is a power suit manufactured by StarCitizen:Argo Astronautics. It is designed to assist individuals in lifting heavy loads when manual handling poses safety risks and the use of a vehicle is not feasible. This durable exo-frame incorporates a patented structural support mechanism along with a custom tractor system, which greatly enhances the user's strength, stability, and load-bearing capabilities.<ref name="ATLSLaunch">Template:Cite RSI</ref>

Development

2024-08-09	There was very little information about the ATLS prior to it's reveal. It was shown for a fraction of a second in the 3.24 "Cargo Empires" update trailer, without any context to it.<ref>Star Citizen Alpha 3.24 - Cargo Empires update trailer</ref> Some players pointed it out, but some believed it to be a simple prop. On StarCitizen:September 5 2024 CIG posted a video on Twitter featuring close-up images of the ATLS, with a voice asking "Where do you want it?".<ref>Twitter video of ATLS</ref>
2024-09-06	The vehicle was then implemented without any prior announcement into the StarCitizen:PTU phase of Alpha 3.24.1. The patch notes stated the vehicle was ready for testing, but only able to be spawned by StarCitizen:ETF players. 3.24.1 was deployed to the StarCitizen:Live branch on StarCitizen:September 13, and the vehicle simultaneously went on sale.
2025-03-27	Alongside the release of the StarCitizen:ATLS GEO, the ATLS received updates and polish to its user interface, model and health states in Alpha 4.1.0.
