Trivia

• Asgard, according to Norse mythology, is the residence of the gods, which is partitioned into twelve or more realms, such as Valhalla, the dwelling of Odin and the sanctuary for heroes who perished in earthly combat; Thrudheim, the domain of Thor; and Breidablik, the residence of Balder. Each significant deity possessed a palace within Asgard, and numerous Germanic tribes held the belief that these grand structures resembled those of their own aristocracy.
