The Bengal ship model made by the Star Citizen organization Imperium is 2 meters long at a scale of 1:500. it uses swappable name plates to change the name between the org's ISS Sovereign and Admiral Bishop’s StarCitizen:UEES Krugeri.<ref name=":0">The Imperium Bengal Project V1 - CitizenCon 2953, u/xstNz, reddit, November 19 2023</ref>

it was inspired by the first episode of 10 For the Chairman in 2013, which was showing StarCitizen:Chris Roberts new office in the Cloud Imperium Games Santa Monica studio, with ship models from Wing Commander being displayed.<ref name=":0" />

A Star Citizen player thought “What Chris really needs is a cool Star Citizen model to go along with those models from Wing Commander". As he needed help for this project, and a lot of support, both from within his organization and from within CIG, he recruited a fellow org member to help him plan out how to accomplish this and reached out to CIG to see if anyone could help them obtain the files to create such a model, getting help from Sandi Roberts.<ref name=":0" />

The first attempt started in 2016 when the two players signed a NDA with CIG and obtained a copy of the StarCitizen:Bengal art files along with an official license to produce multiple models of the ship both for their organization to display, and also for purposes of making a gift for Chris Roberts and CIG. However due to the Bengal Carrier “holes” in its external mesh and the state of 3D printing technology in 2016, the model was almost impossible to 3D print and there was no way to easily repair the flaws in the Bengal Model files without putting in a lot more time, effort, and money than they had access to.<ref name=":0" />

In 2020 the Covid 19 pandemic hit and suddenly everyone was stuck at home with way too much time on their hands, leading to the flaws in the original Bengal model getting fixed and the model being made printable. The project was restarted with additional help from within the org.<ref name=":0" />

On May 29th 2022 the NDA and license got renewed, they received a greatly improved set of Bengal Art Files, and the model got finished on the very first day of StarCitizen:CitizenCon 2023 where it was displayed.<ref name=":0" /> It was given to the CIG Los Angeles studio as a gift.
