Wing Commander project

A Wing commander project was being planned at Bl!nk Media International in 2011, however it did not see the light of day.

In April 2011 a news article quoted Chris Roberts of Bl!nk Media International as wanting to make a video game that would take years to build, require over 30 million dollars and over 100 hires, and saying that there'd be multiple games. It also listed Mark Hamill, Malcolm McDowell, Tom Wilson, John Rhys-Davies as scheduled project actors, who had already been actors for past Wing Commander games and most of whom are now actors in StarCitizen:Squadron 42.<ref>Breaking News: Is a New Wing Commander Already In the Works?, wcnews.com, September 8, 2011</ref>

In May 2011 another news article mentions a Wing Commander [[StarCitizen::Category:Video games|video game]] project by Chris Roberts.<ref>Breaking News: More Wing Commander Details Come to Light, wcnews.com, September 10, 2011</ref>

In August 2011, Chris Roberts said that he definitely wants to do another Wing Commander, for which he has a very specific vision, that he feels re-energized, and that he thinks he can come back.<ref>Back On The Flight Deck: An Interview With Wing Commander’s Chris Roberts, g4tv.com, August 12, 2011, archived</ref>

The pre-production of Star Citizen started towards the end of 2011, which aligns with the time Chris Roberts left Bl!nk Media International.<ref name=":0" /><ref>"Basically I’ve been working with a small team over the course of the past year to get the early prototyping and production done.
