StarCitizen:Expanse
More actions
The Expanse is a single-seat refinery ship developed by StarCitizen:Musashi Industrial and Starflight Concern. It is designed to process front-line raw ore and then either transfer to a dedicated cargo ship or sell the refined ore itself. Ideal in combination with mining vehicles such as the StarCitizen:Prospector and/or [[StarCitizen::Category:Cargo ships|cargo ships]] like the StarCitizen:Hull A, the Expanse shines as a critical part of an organized mining team.<ref name="ExpanseStore">Template:Cite RSI</ref><ref name="ExpanseConcept">Template:Cite RSI</ref><ref name="ExpanseQandA">Template:Cite RSI</ref>

Trivia
- The eponymous Expanse books initially started as a concept for a pen-and-paper game and an MMO before becoming a book serie.<ref>'Expanse' Co-Creator Ty Franck On Writing, 'Star Citizen' and Why He Hated 'Mass Effect 3', rollingstone.com, February 1, 2017, archived</ref> James S.A. Corey, the alias for the two authors, said "I'm very curious if they will manage to actually deliver on the promise of Star Citizen. The demos they keep putting out look amazing." and "I mean, I already have a crew that will let me fly with them when/if the time comes. I'd love to jump in an engineering bay during a battle."<ref>"I mean, I already have a crew that will let me fly with them when/if the time comes.
