Gatac ManufactureTemplate:SClang is a StarCitizen:Xi'an commercial and industrial spacecraft manufacturer located on StarCitizen:Tethle'a. Like other companies in the StarCitizen:Xi'an Empire, Gatac has been granted the exclusive right to manufacture certain types of products for the empire. For Gatac, this has made them the sole manufacturer of industrial spacecraft for the Xi'an.<ref name="galactapedia-housengatak">Template:Cite RSI</ref> The company has a reputation in the Empire for producing cutting-edge and reliable cargo ships. The company has a long-standing reputation as a 'knowledge-driven' corporation. It shares several of its top ship designers with the Xi'an manufacturer that manufactures the capital Xi'an cargo ship. It is also committed to looking to other civilizations for interesting engineering approaches to incorporate into its own designs. If there is any kind of conference or discussion about ship-making techniques (no matter how high or low level), odds are, there will be a Gatac representative there, studiously taking notes.<ref name="jp0907">Template:Cite Jump Point</ref>

History

During StarCitizen:the Great Divide (20044 - 19755 BCE), House Ng.at'ak was a vassal of StarCitizen:House Ru'a responsible for building and maintaining vehicles and spacecraft that formed the backbone of Ru'a's logistics operations. Three of Ng.at'ak's elders perished alongside the leadership of Ru'a when StarCitizen:House Kl.ō unintentionally poisoned the atmosphere of the Xi'an homeworld StarCitizen:RyiXy'an. When Ru'a was made the first Imperial House in the aftermath of the tragedy, newly elevated Emperor StarCitizen:Ya.l'ē se Ru'a rewarded Ng.at'ak for their service by granting them exclusive rights to build industrial spacecraft for the Xi'an Empire in perpetuity.<ref name="galactapedia-housengatak"/>

Over the years, Gatac Manufacture has ensured its continued existence not only through its cutting-edge and practical tech but also because its Council features two direct relatives of StarCitizen:Emperor Kr.ē.<ref name="jp0907"/>

After the 2947 StarCitizen:Human-Xi’an Trade Initiative (HuXa) went into effect, the company began funding research to create spacecraft adapted to the needs of both Xi'an and StarCitizen:Humans.
