Development

The Hunter was originally classified as a destroyer in the Vanduul ship size chart released in 2014-02-16.<ref name="cl13575">Template:Cite RSI</ref> In the StarCitizen:Squadron 42 live gameplay reveal in StarCitizen:CitizenCon 2024, it is re-classified as a corvette. It can be heard in NPC conversations during the scene when the player has to attack a Hunter.<ref name="citcon2024"/>
