StarCitizen:CitizenCon 2016 was held at the Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles, USA.<ref>Template:Cite RSI</ref>

StarCitizen:CitizenCon 2021 was livestreamed, making it a completely digital event for the first time.<ref>Template:Cite RSI</ref> During the stream, they revealed the StarCitizen:400i and the StarCitizen:Liberator, and showed continued work on StarCitizen:Planetary tech, StarCitizen:Merchantman, StarCitizen:Gen 12, StarCitizen:Vulkan, Server Meshing, StarCitizen:Persistence, sound design and systemic gameplay.
During the CitizenCon 2021 livestream, they released patch StarCitizen:Star Citizen Alpha 3.15.0 to the first wave StarCitizen:PTU (StarCitizen:Subscribers and StarCitizen:Concierge).
