StarCitizen:QV Planet Services

QV Planet Services was a StarCitizen:human mining corporation that operated in the StarCitizen:Nyx system. Founded in StarCitizen:2589, it built a network of mining infrastructure across the system before market forces undercut its business, and it shut down in StarCitizen:2644. The settlement StarCitizen:Levski was later founded from the remains of one of its abandoned facilities.<ref name="galactapedia">Template:Cite RSI</ref>

History

QV Planet Services was founded in StarCitizen:2589, raising its initial capital by convincing investors that it could quickly build infrastructure and begin operations in the newly discovered StarCitizen:Nyx system before other companies established a foothold there. After the StarCitizen:United Empire of Earth (UEE) accepted its bid to operate in the system, the company followed through on its promise and rapidly built a network of infrastructure across Nyx.<ref name="galactapedia" />

In the 2630s, another company discovered large caches of many of Nyx's most valuable commodities elsewhere, which tanked market prices. QV Planet Services formally shut down in StarCitizen:2644 and abandoned its equipment, choosing to recoup its investors with the funding it had left rather than spend it dismantling the infrastructure.<ref name=":0">CitizenCon Direct: October 11th, 2025.
