StarCitizen:Takuetsu Starships

Takuetsu Starships (卓越) is a StarCitizen:human model manufacturer based in StarCitizen:Fujin City on StarCitizen:Saisei in the StarCitizen:Centauri system. Founded in StarCitizen:2894, the company holds reproduction licenses from spacecraft manufacturers and engineering companies such as StarCitizen:RSI and StarCitizen:Anvil Aerospace, and it is known among collectors for highly detailed models. It produces replicas of personal, commercial, military, and alien spacecraft in various scales, and it also designs and manufactures spacecraft components, weapons, and space stations.<ref name="subscriber-flair">Template:Cite RSI</ref>

Models

Takuetsu Starships produces die-cast metal, ultra-realistic replicas of spacecraft throughout history. The company is known for acquiring ships and disassembling them to obtain accurate measurements of each ship component in order to create faithful duplications. Each series, and thus each model, is a limited edition; some lines go as low as 500 models produced. Takuetsu maintains that no series is ever duplicated without at least some changes, and the prices of its models vary across the galaxy based on each system's demand.

Each model is part of a clearly identified collection with a dedicated enclosure that features a space and a plaque for each model within the collection. The MISC-2944 collection, for example, features three ships from that manufacturer.

The boxes containing the models are simple. They are made of plain cardboard and wrapped in two layers of paper, one of brown paper and the other glossy and printed. Normal boxes, the most common type, are branded with the collection name, the ship name, the manufacturer logo, and the Takuetsu Starships name and logo.<ref name="subscriber-flair"/>

Collector shelves

The collector shelf has a design intended for professional offices, meeting rooms, or museums. The shelf is branded with the collection logo and name (such as the StarCitizen:MISC collection) and with the Takuetsu Starships logo and name. It is made of glass, and the ships within are held in place by inconspicuous brackets attached beneath each ship.

Missing ship models leave their space on the shelf open. Plaques naming each available ship are shown, and the lighting at the spot of a missing ship is kept at a minimum.<ref name="subscriber-flair"/>
