Trident Attack Systems was founded in StarCitizen:2803. The company's original lineup of weapons was predominantly ballistic, but when it scaled up its operations in StarCitizen:2821 it pivoted to focus exclusively on energy weapons as a cost-saving measure.<ref name="galactapedia" />
