A damage type tag is a group of Minecraft:damage types. Damage type tags can be used when testing for damage type arguments with Template:Cd, which succeeds if the damage type matches any of the damage types specified in the tag.

Damage from these types is always dealt to Ender Dragons, even if not dealt by a player
always_kills_armor_stands
Destroys Minecraft:armor stands in one hit.
always_most_significant_fall
Used to show the correct death message
always_triggers_silverfish
Damage from these types always makes silverfish notify nearby hidden silverfishes.
avoids_guardian_thorns
Damage from these types does not trigger the guardian Thorns damage for the attacker.

Damage from these types is reduced by the Minecraft:Blast Protection enchantment.
is_fall
Damage types with this tag are ignored if the Template:Cd Minecraft:game rule is set to false, or if the player has the Minecraft:Slow Falling potion effect. Damage from these types is reduced by the Minecraft:Feather Falling enchantment.
is_fire
Damage types with this tag are ignored if the Template:Cd Minecraft:game rule is set to false, or if the player has the Minecraft:Fire Resistance potion effect. Any damage received is reduced by the Minecraft:Fire Protection enchantment.
is_freezing
Damage types with this tag are ignored if the Template:Cd Minecraft:game rule is set to false, or if the player is wearing any piece of Minecraft:leather armor.
is_lightning
Used to make turtles drop bowls when killed by lightning.
is_player_attack
This tag is not directly referenced by the game.
is_projectile
- Used in many advancements
- Used to check if Endermen should teleport
- Used to check if Shulkers were hit by a projectile (then checked if the projectile is a shulker bullet to duplicate them)
- Damage from these types is reduced by the Minecraft:Projectile Protection enchantment.
