From SAS Gaming Wiki
More actions
1.4.3 is the first pre-release for Minecraft:Java Edition 1.4.4, released on November 1, 2012,<ref>Template:Cite</ref> which adds a new Minecraft:music disc and fixes many bugs.
Additions
Items
- Implemented the music disc "Minecraft:wait".
- This music disc was originally added to the game's files in Minecraft:Beta 1.9 Prerelease 2 named "where are we now", but could not be implemented due to issues with the spaces in its name, so it has been renamed to "wait".
General
- Template:Key + Template:Key now shows the Minecraft:hitbox around Minecraft:entities.
- At this point, the hitbox is white and opaque and does not have an outline.
Changes
Blocks
- Can now be placed on the side of a single Minecraft:slab.
- Now have a bigger hitbox; previously they shared the Minecraft:fence hitbox.<ref>Template:Bug</ref>
- Water now completely negates all fall damage.<ref>Template:Bug</ref>
- Players can no longer swim against the current of water.
Gameplay
- Switching tools resets a block's brokenness.
Removals
General
- Minecraft:Wall block collision boxes no longer lose precision at extreme coordinates.
- This is almost certaintly due to the fix for Template:Bug.
Fixes
- Fixed music disc "11" not being dropped by creepers in the same way as the other discs.
- Fixed the collision box of slimes.
Trivia
- 1.4.3 was released exactly 4 years before Minecraft:Education Edition.
