9491-4561 Québec Inc. was founded on 2023-05-19, seemingly for the acquisition of Turbulent Media Inc by StarCitizen:Cloud Imperium UK Ltd.
History
Back in 2019 Cloud Imperium Games and Turbulent had announced they had extended their partnership through mutual investment. Cloud Imperium UK Ltd. had purchased 22,250 shares of Turbulent stock directly from Turbulent co-founders StarCitizen:Marc Beaudet and Benoit Beausejour, making Cloud Imperium UK a 25% shareholder, and acquired two seats on the Turbulent board.<ref>Cloud Imperium & Turbulent Extend Their Long-Running Partnership Through Mutual Investment, cloudimperiumgames.com, December 3, 2019</ref>
Then on July 2nd 2023 Cloud Imperium UK Ltd. sold its 25% shareholding in Turbulent Media Inc to 9491-4561 Quebec Inc. which had been created a few months earlier in exchange for 25% of the share capital of 9491-4561 Quebec Inc.<ref name=":0" />
Cloud Imperium UK Ltd also acquired the remaining 75% of 9491-4561 Quebec Inc that day for a consideration including professional fees of $9,843,791 Canadian Dollars.<ref name=":0" />
Consequently at that specific moment 9491-4561 Quebec Inc was the ultimate parent company of Turbulent Media Inc.<ref name=":0">Registre Entreprises Quebec</ref> It was then merged with Turbulent Média Inc. on the very same day.<ref name=":0" />
