StarCitizen:F7C Hornet Mk I
More actions
Ceasing central manufacture in 2954, the F7C Hornet Mk I is a newfound classic and the later-developed civilian version of the original F7A Hornet built by StarCitizen:Anvil Aerospace. To adversaries, it represented a formidable weapon that should never be taken lightly. For allies, it served as a protector. Those Mk I Hornets still active in the 'Verse remain the reliable and robust multi-role fighter that still echoes the fighters and pilots of the StarCitizen:UEE Navy.
While optimized for carrying cargo, the base F7C serves as the cornerstone upon which to develop and fulfill any specifications you may envision.<ref name="F7C-MkI-Store">Template:Cite RSI</ref><ref name="F7C-MkI-Launch">Template:Cite RSI</ref>

Lore
Template:Main The F7C Hornet is the first civilian ship produced by Anvil Aerospace. Due to the StarCitizen:UEE military secrecy laws, that 60% of the military hardware in a given spacecraft cannot be offered to the civilians, Anvil has to replacing existing systems without being given access to their military equivalents. In some cases, designers must reconstruct subsystems based solely on publicly available holographs. Civilianizing top-of-the-line military spacecraft is a frustrating process, but one that has proved ultimately valuable for Anvil: company profits rose 34% after the first civilian model F7C Hornet was made available.<ref>Template:Cite RSI</ref>
