Associated Sciences & Development (ASD) is a high-end StarCitizen:Human spacecraft weapons manufacturer headquartered on StarCitizen:Persei. Usually their products are very expensive and exclusive. Among their common products are energy weapons, distortion cannons, rail guns, and shredders. The company's reputation suffered a serious blow after their StarCitizen:EE6 Electron Cannon suffered a catastrophic malfunction that resulted in six deaths and serious property damage during its public unveiling.<ref></ref><ref name="galactapedia"></ref><ref name=":0"></ref>

Reports surfaced in June 2955 that ASD's chief scientist, Dr Logan Jorrit, was involved in undisclosed scientific experimentation on irradiated creatures hidden within the great storms of StarCitizen:Pyro I as part of Imperator Addison's push to solve the ongoing regeneration crisis.<ref name=":0" />

Due to these reports the StarCitizen:Hackrow Agency put out a contract in August 2955 to investigate the Onyx Facility found in the StarCitizen:Stanton system. This investigation needed to show how far ASD was involved in this and what role Dr. Logan Jorrit played.<ref></ref>
