AopoaTemplate:SClang<ref>An Overview of the Xi'an Language for Diplomats</ref> is a StarCitizen:Xi'an House and StarCitizen:spacecraft manufacturer. It holds a monopoly granted by the Xi'an government to exclusively manufacture light craft, and is the only manufacturer of light craft legally allowed in the StarCitizen:Xi'an Empire. Its products include the StarCitizen:Khartu-al and the StarCitizen:San'tok.yāi. One of a growing number of Xi'an corporations that market their products to StarCitizen:Humans, Aopoa has sponsored multiple marketing events highlighting the exchange between Human and Xi'an cultures. In 2910, it partnered with Musashi Industrial and Starflight Concern to market its products to Humans.<ref name="galactapedia">Template:Cite RSI</ref>

History

Following a successful technology-sharing partnership with the ship manufacturer Musashi Industrial and Starflight Concern, StarCitizen:Emperor Kr.ē gradually allowed his people to pursue more interspecies business transactions. One result of this new policy was the production of the StarCitizen:Khartu-al, the first completely Xi'an-designed ship approved for sale in the StarCitizen:UEE, marking a step forward in xeno-economic trade development.<ref name=":0">Template:Cite RSI</ref>

Aopoa's official statement claims that it produces advanced spacecraft by the will and grace of Emperor Kr.ē. Unofficially, it has a reputation among the Xi'an for its aggressive political maneuvering a millennium ago, when it wrested control away from the previous light-craft manufacturing council. Aopoa incorporated the iconography of the Emperor's family into its prototype design and challenged its predecessor to shoot at the sacred symbols during the trial skirmish that would determine control of the governing board. The ship could not be fired upon without risking the Emperor's displeasure, and Aopoa was able to gain control over the sector. Numerous rivals soon emerged, assuming that the company had earned its position through audacity alone, and sought to oust it. Faced with many challengers, Aopoa revealed the dual-vector thruster technology that has since revolutionized Xi'an ship design. Its designers had been working on the technology in secret but had been unable to finish it until they acquired the resources that council control brought them. Aopoa defended its title and cemented its position in the centuries that followed.<ref name=":0" />

Many Xi'an, including Emperor Kr.ē, were alive to witness Humanity's actions of centuries past and remain wary of Humans. Like all Xi'an corporations, Aopoa has been granted a monopoly over its manufacturing sector, and it is the only manufacturer of light craft legally allowed in the Xi'an Empire. As such, its leadership council has a government representative who ensures that the company acts in the best interest of all Xi'an in its corporate decisions.<ref name=":0" />

Hexagon logo

The four-hexagon logo was an attempt by the manufacturer to appeal to a new, Human audience. After a nine-year trial period, it was rumored that Aopoa would replace it with a more traditional Xi'an mark.<ref name=":0" />
