The Anthony Tanaka Remembrance Day is a holiday in the StarCitizen:United Empire of Earth (UEE) held annually on December 3, to remember the death of StarCitizen:Anthony Tanaka.

History

In 2757 Anthony Tanaka, a child laborer, was publicly executed by a member of the Advocacy for refusal to continue working.<ref>Template:Cite RSI</ref> Footage of the the incident was used by members of the anti-Messer movement to encourage resistance against the cruelty of the Messer government.<ref>Template:Cite RSI</ref>

In 2793, after the StarCitizen:Anti-Messer Revolution, StarCitizen:Imperator StarCitizen:Erin Toi signed a declaration recognizing the anniversary of Anthony Tanaka's death as a holiday.

While the holiday is still actively observed in the UEE, some are beginning to forget it's origins and the story of Tanaka.<ref>Template:Cite RSI</ref> Others are using the holiday to push modern agendas.<ref>Template:Cite RSI</ref>
