The Tau Plus (4x Telescopic) was introduced in Alpha 3.6.0 along with the introduction of weapon attachments. It is the one of the first telescopic sights introduced in game.<ref name="patch360">Template:Cite RSI</ref> It was reworked in Alpha 3.7.0.<ref name="patch370">Template:Cite RSI</ref>
