Patch StarCitizen:Star Citizen Alpha 3.17.1 was published to the LIVE branch the day before the event was starting, on May 19. The event then started on the 20th with a few problems, such as not being able to login, getting long login queues before being able to play, character reset queues, ships duplicating or in-game social services being down. StarCitizen:CIG developers were quick to respond, fixing the worst issues, but a "degraded performance" warning was still active on the status page.<ref>{{ | Patch StarCitizen:Star Citizen Alpha 3.17.1 was published to the LIVE branch the day before the event was starting, on May 19.
