Minecraft:Terra Swoop Force

Terra Swoop Force is a Minecraft:Marketplace map released on December 28, 2020 on both Minecraft:Java Edition and Minecraft:Bedrock Edition as part of the Minecraft:Community Celebration event. It is an Minecraft:elytra-based course with a storyline where players have to reach the end to learn what is at the center of the Earth.<ref>Template:Tweet</ref>

Summary

Terra Swoop Force is an adventure map where the player tries to discover the center of the Earth. The player is encouraged to enter the GDL (Geo Descent Lab) building and dive into the mysteries and knowledge of the tunnels leading to the core. They are given a wingsuit to fly through three tunnels, where they meet Dr. Barney, who eventually sacrifices himself to the pulsing core, causing the world to explode.

Spawn

The map begins inside of an info room, themed around an office building and laboratory. Beside the spawn point is a chair covered in books from bookshelves, with a red path leading to the map itself. Along the road are a set off desks with chairs and computers, across from a promotion for the map's two prequels, Minecraft:Monsters of the Deep and Minecraft:Monsters from the Ice. In the next room over are a set of white potted plants, beside toggles for closed captioning and a test for the captions, as well as a Minecraft:button that says Noxcrew. Opposite of the caption buttons are a speaker used to test the map's unique sound design, next to a model of a drill machine behind iron bars. In a third room is a promotion for Noxcrew's social media platforms of the time, beside a teleporter hooked up to the drill. Pressing another button will open a portal into the proper story.

GDL Lab

The player will spawn inside of a helicopter with several rows of seats, stationed outside a GDL facility in a forest. Along the path to the building is a purpur structure, Stan's Bouncy Castle, installed with slime blocks. Entering the building starts a dialogue with a receptionist named Sasha.

By going upstairs, the player is shown a red button: clicking it starts the dialogue of what the journey is about.

Afterward, the player enters an elevator taking them to the basement of the lab. 10 chambers are pulled up from the ground showcasing uniquely colored suits. Selecting a suit brings up a robotic dialogue. File:Boot up.oggTemplate:Collapse

Then the player is encouraged to enter the elevator to Tunnel 1. Template:Collapse

Tunnel 1

Before beginning the journey, the player presses the iconic red button to start the sequence. The hatch will begin to open inward, revealing the tunnel for the first time. Template:Collapse Template:Collapse

After reaching the end of the tunnel, the player arrives at Base Camp Alpha.

Tunnel 3

As the player arrives at Beta Base Camp, automated messages are sent. Template:Collapse

Core Drill

The player is teleported into the Core Drill as the suit senses life forms nearby. The player then encounters Dr. Barney, his first time with human contact in 30 years. The player soon founds out he has gone insane with a deceased Dr. Minnowski (reduced to a skeleton) lies on the floor. Dr. Barney pleads to try on the suit which the player is currently wearing as he is fascinated by the advancement of technology during his time stuck at the drill.

After wearing the suit, he feels exhilarated and opens the door to the core and sacrifices himself to it. A cutscene is then shown to the core and tunnels blowing up as the credits scroll past, completing the end of the story.

The player enters a vertical tunnel and is soon teleported to the core drill's newest tunnel creation. Template:Collapse

Frozen Tunnel

The aftermath of the story is shown and can be played in as well a bonus level is playable. This showcases a frozen GDL lab with the frozen tunnel behind. Template:Collapse

Trophy Room

Noxesium

Noxesium is an in-universe rock which can be collected in each tunnel. This can be combined with a cow's udder, a few gummy bears, dried washing-up liquid and a spleen of a rabbit at 3456 degrees to create the wingsuit.

15 unique Noxesiums can be collected equally in each tunnel with 5 bonus Dark Noxesiums in the Frozen Tunnel.
