The main benefit of this method is that crops never have to be manually watered. The main downsides are lack of flat terrain, lightning strikes and aggressive enemies. The cliff north of Dragonwilds:Vannaka is one of the few viable spots as it is relatively flat, has no aggressive enemies and can fit around 150 plots. This method can give around 75,000-90,000 experience per harvest with all boosts (farming ring, knowledgable nourishment and focused farming potion) and yield enhancers (super compost and iron secateurs). Crops become half grown at the end of the first night, and fully grown at the end of the second night, so it is also possible to rotate between 2 sets of 120-150 plots. Assuming pumpkin spice infusions are cooked from the crops, this method gives around 2.5x more experience to farming than it does to cooking. | Image | Spell | Benefit |
|---|---|---|
| File:Humidify.png File:Cleansing Rain.png |
Dragonwilds:Humidify or Dragonwilds:Cleansing Rain |
Humidify conjures water magic to create a rain cloud that travels forward, instantly watering any Dragonwilds:farming plot that it passes over with Dragonwilds:clean water. Cleansing Rain is the upgrade, causing the conjured rain cloud to Dragonwilds:cure any diseased plants it passes over while watering them. |

Dragonwilds:Uproot or Dragonwilds:Harvester |
Uproot channels the power of the earth, summoning a spectral surge that gently coaxes ripe plants from the soil. Within a small radius, all fully grown crops and wild plants are instantly harvested and drawn towards you. Harvester is the upgrade, expanding Uproot's range to a wider radius. |

Example setup
General advices
- Seeds should always be planted in their right farming plots, as it reduces disease chances by a lot. See this for a list.
- Watering crops can still prove to be very useful as it speeds up the growing process considerably, especially with the aid of watering spells. Crops like pumpkin and watermelon have a maximum yield of 15 with iron secateurs and super compost, but this drops to 13 if one watering is skipped, and 11 if both are skipped.
- Players should not be afraid to build as many Dragonwilds:rain catchers and Dragonwilds:wells as they wish, as water can be challenging to deal with if there is no naturally occurring rain happening.
- Dragonwilds:Oak palisades built all around your farming plots can protect you and your crops from aggressive monsters.
- Farming being a very passive skill when waiting for crops to grow, it should be trained in alternance with other skills.
- Utilising the sleep mechanic accelerates Farming considerably, as crops instantly advance to their next growth stage at the start of a new day.
- Dragonwilds:Iron secateurs should be wielded between casts of Uproot or Harvester if more crops are desired, as the tool's effects do not stack with these spells.
Crops
The fastest way to level farming is to grow one of the 3 highest xp crops - pumpkin, watermelon and irit.
These plants also have several uses:
- Irit is used in all focused xp potions except agility.
- All three can be sold for 6 Garou chit each to Dragonwilds:Domri - The Merchant.
- Pumpkin and irit can be cooked into pumpkin spice infusion.
- Making super compost.
Gathering seeds
In addition to gathering plants in the world, growing crops gives back up to 4 times more seeds than were used, depending on farming level.
Methods
Stormtouched Highlands willow plotswidth=83x83
For a method with an evenly balanced experience gain, see the cooking training guide.
Required items:
- 800-1200 willow logs
- 1 super compost bin per 20 plots
- Chests to store tools and bulk crops.
- Enough pumpkin, watermelon or irit seeds to get started (30+). Harvesting always provides more seeds than were used.
- 5-8 compost buckets
- Dragonwilds:Spade
- Yield and experience enhancers (see above)
- Lightning rods. One has a 6 tile radius so several might be needed.
- Dragonwilds:Lodestone
- Plant cures (optional). Can lose 3-10 crops without curing, depending on luck.
- Summon shelter spell or a bed, to sleep right after finishing planting and check for disease in the morning. Can be skipped if growing the lowest disease chance crop - pumpkins.
