The ruined bastion of the Wild Knights, after they abandoned Bramblemead in search of greener pastures. For a while it was a powerful stronghold, with a growing legion of knights that would seek out the imbalances across Ashenfall and lay them all to rest. | |||
When the dead began to rise and the Withering took hold, the keep closed its doors and focused entirely on defence. It was, ultimately, a losing battle. The problem with fighting the dead is that each of your force that falls becomes a new soldier in theirs. Defeat was the only outcome possible, but the knights held on as long as they could. | |||
