"SWISH... THWANG!
— An Arrow
Archery Overview
Archery is a combat skill often learned by many across Alharth. A basic skill used by hunters, farmers, and warriors alike, Archery focuses on providing ranged attacks that can cover a wide area.
In-Game Description
Expertise with using bows to hunt and kill.
Training Archery
- An old rumor suggests that Archery was one of many skills taught on the Island of Anagoge, once home to a Council Academy. Travelers whisper of a magical bow empowered with the ability to instantly teach the skill of Archery to anyone who successfully finds it.
- Elahil is Serbule's resident Bowyer & Fletcher. For a price, he can train travelers in the basics of Archery.
- Alravesa the All-Hunter is willing to teach experienced Archers more advanced techniques. Found in the remote Town of Amulna, Alravesa will help her friends unlock Levels 51-60 and 61-70 of Archery. She is also willing to teach advanced abilities to those willing and able to learn them.
- Floxie in the Fae Realm unlocks Archery Skill Levels 71-80 and teaches level 70+ abilities.
- Levels 81-90 are unlocked by Emersil the Ever-Gloating deep beneath Povus.
- Denton Razor in Vidaria can also unlock 81-90 Archery.

Ability Overview
Items in (parenthesis) are available through mods
Note: All archery attacks can critically hit based on your Anatomical knowledge of the creature. Get to studying!
Archery plays into critical hits quite a bit, mods allow critical hits to cause a poison DOT or an AoE burst of Acid (on top of the attack dealing more damage).
All Archery attacks (excluding bow bash and energy bows) require ammunition. Higher ability tiers require better ammunition!

Comments |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic Attack | http://cdn.projectgorgon.com/v456/icons/icon_3310.png | Blitz Shot | Piercing (Poison) |
30 | 1 | The fastest CD of any skill, each shot consumes ammunition. Good range, good damage, the best dakka, and deals extra damage to vulnerable enemies. Mod allows complete damage swap from Piercing to Poison. |
| http://cdn.projectgorgon.com/v456/icons/icon_3312.png | Bow Bash | Crushing | 5 | 3 | An alternate option for a basic attack, slower, but doesn't use ammo. Can be modded to give flat physical damage reduction and/or a knockback if you don't want to carry barbed arrows for Hook Shot. | |
| Core Attack | http://cdn.projectgorgon.com/v456/icons/icon_3315.png | Aimed Shot | Piercing | 30 | 9 | Extra damage, extra accuracy, mods provide buffs. |
| Epic Attack | http://cdn.projectgorgon.com/v456/icons/icon_3319.png | Heavy Shot | Piercing | 20 | 40 | Bigger arrow (fires Dense Arrows), bigger damage, doesn't travel as far. |
| Major Heal | http://cdn.projectgorgon.com/v456/icons/icon_3631.png | Restorative Arrow | Piercing | 30 | 30 | You shoot a Reservoir Arrow at an ally, it hurts them... and heals them. Can be modded to give a shield, restore power, and can also be modded to shoot yourself! Damage mods do not boost friendly damage. |
| Minor Heal | - | - | - | - | Archery has no Minor Heal, any mods that buff Minor Heals will have no effect on this skill. | |
| Nice Attack | http://cdn.projectgorgon.com/v456/icons/icon_3630.png | Mangling Shot | Piercing | 30 | 20 | Fires a Long Arrow to stun an enemy. Extra damage to Vulnerable enemies. Can be modded for numerous debuffs and can be modded to hit a secondary creature. |
| Signature Debuff | http://cdn.projectgorgon.com/v456/icons/icon_3320.png | Snare Arrow | Piercing | 30 | 30 | Fires a Snare Arrow to mesmerize an enemy for 20 seconds. Can be modded for heal, buff, and a debuff. |
| Survival Utility | - | - | - | - | Your Survival Utility is being high DPS at a 30 meter range! | |
| Other Abilities | http://cdn.projectgorgon.com/v456/icons/icon_3301.png | Poison Arrow | Poison Poison DOT |
30 | 10 | Fires a Reservoir Arrow. The centerpiece to any Poison Archery build as it can be modded to reduce the poison resistance of any creature (resistances can fall below 0). Damage mods for Poison Arrow apply to the mod that adds DOT damage when you critically hit. |
| http://cdn.projectgorgon.com/v456/icons/icon_3302.png | Acid Arrow | Acid Acid Armor |
30 | 10 | Fires a Reservoir Arrow. Deals bonus armor damage. Acid damage increases are applied twice as long as an enemy has armor, as the Acid damage and Direct Armor Acid damage both receive the flat and % increases. Damage mods specifically for Acid Arrow apply to the mod that adds Burst damage when you critically hit | |
| http://cdn.projectgorgon.com/v456/icons/icon_3309.png | Fire Arrow | Fire Fire DOT |
30 | 15 | Fires a Reservoir Arrow. As with most fire damage, its base damage is higher, but it also enrages the enemy twice as fast. Low synergy with the rest of Archery, but does have innate Fire DOT to deal with Troll's regen. | |
| http://cdn.projectgorgon.com/v456/icons/icon_3316.png | Hook Shot | Piercing | 30 | 11 | GET OVER HERE! Fires a Barbed Arrow and yoinks the target to you. Can be modded to silence Non-Elite targets (they don't call for help). Another key piece of the Poison Archer build as it also can be modded to reduce target's resistance to poison (and fire). | |
| http://cdn.projectgorgon.com/v456/icons/icon_3318.png | Multishot | AoE Piercing (AoE Fire) |
30 | 15 | Fire at everything in a 30 meter radius, always consumes 5 arrows. Great for getting the entire room to focus you so you can die faster! Can be modded to convert Piercing to Fire damage. | |
| http://cdn.projectgorgon.com/v456/icons/icon_3311.png | Heavy Multishot | AoE Piercing | 20 | 30 | Fire at everything in a 20 meter radius with Dense Arrows! Consumes 5 arrows. Can be modded to buff Nice Attack and Epic Attack and/or be modded to deal some hefty AoE damage by itself. | |
| http://cdn.projectgorgon.com/v456/icons/icon_3305.png | Long Shot | Piercing | 45 | 10 | Fire a Long Arrow. Extra range and can be modded to reduce enemy resistance to Poison, Trauma, and Acid! | |
