Journal

The following text is transcribed from the Journal.

With a distinct aroma, Leather Armour became very popular with warriors and hunters, as well as a few villagers, but that’s another story. Leather, when properly layered and cured, can turn away both the claws of a beast and the blades of an assailant.

Dragonwilds:Brynmoor villagers favoured simpler styles, which were easy to produce and focused on defence. When traversing the wild forests of Dragonwilds:Ashenfall, they quickly found that more elaborate designs got in the way. Rather than choosing style over function, it was better to keep things simple, so that repairs were easier.

Still, it was common for villagers to add small adornments to their Leather Armour to make them stand out. Patches made to resemble animals were commonplace, but flowers were popular too.

Gentle perfumes were also favoured to help mask the leather’s distinctive smell.
