Template:Infobox biome The End is a Minecraft:biome used to generate Minecraft:the End dimension. There are five biomes in the End, but they are considered separate biomes only Template:In, while generating the same terrain as Template:In.
Description
This biome is exclusive to the End dimension. Islands of Minecraft:End stone generate dispersed in the Minecraft:void, with the surface almost completely flat. One island, where the player spawns upon entering and Minecraft:End portal, generates in the center far from all others.
Minecraft:Endermen frequently spawn all around the biome. Template:IN, Minecraft:water placed in the End takes on a unique purple color and underwater Minecraft:fog is much denser.
With Minecraft:Vibrant Visuals, the sky is slightly tinted dark purple, more visible near the zenith. During an Minecraft:End flash, a strong purple volumetric Minecraft:fog effect is visible, while it illuminates the environment with a purple tint. Minecraft:Water is also colored purple, and the water fog much denser than in the Overworld.
Main island
The End central island is generated around Minecraft:coordinates 0, surrounded by emptiness all the way to one thousand blocks in every direction. Most of the End features are exclusive to here, including the Minecraft:ender dragon, the Minecraft:End spikes, the Minecraft:End crystals, the 5×5 spawn platform, the Minecraft:exit portal, and the 20 central Minecraft:End gateways, which generate after the ender dragon has been defeated.
Template:IN, this biome is only used in a circle of radius 1024 centered at the 0,0 coordinates in the End, containing this main island. This makes it the biome that occupies the smallest portion of the map: a circular radius of 1000 blocks, covering 3.5 billionths of the entire dimension.
Template:IN, this biome is instead the biggest, as it is used to generate the whole dimension.
Outer islands
Template:Exclusive In addition to the features from the main End island, the rest of the features in the End are also part of this biome Template:In, including Minecraft:outer End islands, rogue End gateways, Minecraft:End cities, and Minecraft:chorus plants. Minecraft:Shulkers can be found in End cities as well as the Minecraft:elytra. End cities and chorus plants only generate on the larger islands; small square islands are dispersed in the void surrounding them.
Mobs
The following mobs naturally spawn here:
