Template:Infobox biome A flower forest is a variant of the Minecraft:forest filled with a much larger variation and frequency of Minecraft:flowers. Minecraft:Rabbits spawn here instead of wolves and Minecraft:bee nests generate much more often.
Generation
Flower forests generate in medium temperature ranges and in the lowest Minecraft:humidity. This means that they are rarer than regular Minecraft:forests and never border them.
They are most commonly bordered by Minecraft:plains and Minecraft:meadow biomes or separated from Minecraft:sunflower plains, which generate in place of a flower forest in high Minecraft:weirdness, by Minecraft:rivers. Generating in all types of terrain, they can either border Minecraft:windswept hills or Minecraft:mountains.
Description
Flower forests have both Minecraft:oak and Minecraft:birch trees. They generate with a wide array of Minecraft:flowers, along with Minecraft:bee nests on 5% of Minecraft:trees.
Differences to regular forests
There are some key differences between regular forests and flower forests.
- Flower forests have fewer trees and less Minecraft:grass. Instead, flower forests include a diverse variety of flowers. Minecraft:Leaf litter and Minecraft:bushes are completely absent.
- The vast number of flowers makes this biome variant an excellent source of Minecraft:dyes. The following types of flowers can be generated in flower forests:
- The following flowers do not generate in flower forests:
- There is a 10× greater chance of trees generating a Minecraft:bee nest.
- There is also a slight difference in mob spawning:
- Template:EntityLink cannot spawn in flower forests.
- Template:EntityLink can spawn in flower forests.
- Template:EntityLink also occur 10× more often, as there is 10× higher chance of spawning a Minecraft:bee nest with a tree.
Mobs
The following mobs naturally spawn here:
