Minecraft:Bedrock Edition cache files

Template:Italic title The cache files for Template:BE include various temporary assets related to online features, mostly Minecraft:Marketplace content. Marketplace cache, download cache, and Minecraft:screenshot cache can be cleared in the Storage settings. All files in the cache are named with random UUIDs.

Location

Windows

On Windows, the files are located under the Template:Cd directory. In Minecraft:Minecraft Preview, this is Template:Cd and functions the same.

Directory structure

  • Template:File: The main Minecraft:Marketplace cache, containing all thumbnails, images, icons, and persona renders currently cached, as well as (multiple) Template:Cd files with the exact same content as in Template:File.
  • Template:File: Files without an extension with a Minecraft:JSON structure containing various cached information related to the Marketplace, as well as the UUIDs of corresponding images in the cache.

  • Template:File: Contains the Minecraft:Minecraft Ten font.
  • Template:File: Contains promotional images for Minecraft:Minecraft Realms, such as banners, key art, and FAQ icons.
  • Template:File: Contains player skin faces used in the Minecraft:profile screen, obtained from the Minecraft:Persona API. It also contains Template:Cd files for each image.

  • Template:File: Contains information about the last playing session, such as joined worlds, their IDs and game modes, and the playtime.
  • Template:File: Currently Minecraft:Minecraft Preview for Windows only. This is the texture cache for the "Texture Streaming" video setting.
