The Garden Awakens is a Minecraft:game drop released on December 3, 2024, as Minecraft:Java Edition 1.21.4 and Minecraft:Bedrock Edition 1.21.50. It focuses on the Minecraft:pale garden, a biome that is home to the Minecraft:creaking alongside Minecraft:pale oak trees and pale moss. The first features of this game drop were revealed at Minecraft:Minecraft Live 2024.

In an official and publicly shared survey about Minecraft Live<ref>Template:Cite</ref><ref>Template:Tweet</ref> and in file names on Minecraft:Minecraft.net,<ref>Template:Mcnet</ref><ref>https://www.minecraft.net/content/dam/minecraftnet/games/minecraft/screenshots/mcv_holiday_eyeblossom-resin_testing_header_1280x768.jpg</ref> the drop was referred to as the Vanilla Holiday Update. During development, it was referred to as the Winter Drop, the name of the corresponding Minecraft:experiment Template:In.
