Journal

The following text is transcribed from the Journal.

We are finally free from our kin’s grasp. They can no longer hunt us down, searching for Dragonwilds:Lacrussa’s accursed sibling. To know the future and yet not offer us guidance, what is the point of a seer that does not see?

Dragonwilds:Rasthin urges patience, Dragonwilds:Avisk calls for calm, and Lacrussa ignores us, content to have her family returned to her. All of us stand in defiance of our kin’s traditions. We forged our own path and found somewhere new.

This continent is remarkable. It is flush with energy that seeps into the stone, the trees, the water, and even the air, and it feels alive with possibility. The creatures here are transformed, taking on aspects both elemental and primal. What wonderful possibilities this place offers.

I can do a lot with this continent. The stone looks sturdy, the metal firm. Even the wood feels as though I could make it last centuries before it rots into nothing. It is the perfect place to create a new home. To fashion the foundations of the next dragonkin city.

Dragonwilds:Viika whispers that the structures will last. Dragonkin towers standing against the flow of time.

Monuments to my genius.
