Dragonwilds:Brakka’s hubris was a marvel to behold, perhaps more impressive than any monument of his construction. When Dragonwilds:Rasthin shared with him the elemental power she had wrung from Dragonwilds:Ashenfall’s mysterious vents, Brakka became a master of the earth itself.
With the power to shape stone and soil, by will alone, Brakka could have created great villages. He could have constructed aqueducts and watermills that could brought Ashenfall into a new, golden age. Instead, he made a tower.
A single tower that rose as far as the eye could see. Forged through his own power, and the blood, sweat and tears of garou slaves. It is, perhaps, fitting, that this is where he died. Dragonwilds:Kuldra, the godeater, crushed him beneath her great claw and feasted on his Dragonwilds:anima-rich soul. Stealing Brakka’s power for herself.
She gifted Dragonwilds:Velgar, her most trusted general, with the elemental mastery of the fallen Nodon architect, and, to mock the dragonkin further, Velgar took Brakka’s monument as his new lair.
Now the tower stands for all to see, as a reminder of dragonkin hubris, and rightfully deserves its new moniker; Brakka’s folly.
