Minecraft:Dark Prismarine

Template:Infobox block Dark prismarine is a variant of Minecraft:prismarine that has a dark cyan color with a tight grid pattern. It is one of the building blocks of Minecraft:ocean monuments along with other prismarine variants.

Obtaining

Breaking

Dark prismarine only drops itself when mined with a pickaxe. If mined by any other Minecraft:tool, it Minecraft:drops nothing. Template:Breaking row

Natural generation

Dark prismarines naturally generate as the main blocks in Minecraft:ocean monuments. Dark prismarine encases the 8 gold blocks in the treasure chamber, and appears in fewer decorative features, compared to the other variants of prismarine.

Usage

Conduit power

Template:Main Dark prismarine can be used to activate a Minecraft:conduit by building a structure around it. By doing this, the conduit emits the Minecraft:Conduit Power effect in a certain radius, depending on how many blocks are used to power it. The other two variants of prismarine and Minecraft:sea lanterns can also be used for this purpose.

Note blocks

Dark prismarine can be placed under Minecraft:note blocks to produce "bass drum" sounds.

Sulfur cube

Template:In development Minecraft:Sulfur cubes have the ability to absorb dark prismarine, either through picking it up or being interacted with it. This provides the regular/football effect to the mob when hitting it.
