A golden poisonous potato is a Minecraft:food item that grants Minecraft:absorption and Minecraft:poison when consumed in Minecraft:24w14potato.

Template:See also To eat a golden poisonous potato, press and hold Template:Control while it is selected in the hotbar. It restores Template:Hunger points of hunger and 9.6 hunger saturation.

Unlike most foods, golden poisonous potatoes can be eaten even if the hunger bar is full.

The golden poisonous potato provides:

Minecraft:Absorption I for 2 minutes (providing Template:Hp points of absorption health)
Minecraft:Poison II for 5 seconds (dealing Template:Hp damage)

Damage from Poison can be reduced by armor with Minecraft:Protection or Minecraft:Resistance effect, resulting in net gain of health points.
