For a short time, a necromancer arrived on Dragonwilds:Ashenfall. She had found her way here by boat, fleeing pirates who wanted revenge for her misdeeds. Her skills were limited; she could not raise undead legions, but she had a knack for controlling simple fangs and bones.
She fled into the forests – pirates having found Ashenfall and hunting her down – where she would unleash fang arrows against her foes in the hope of stopping their chase. It didn’t work. Broken, lost and without hope, she prepared herself for death.
But death never came for her.
Instead, a Dragonwilds:Wild Knight, who wore a mask made from the skull of a wolf, rescued her. He pushed back her assailants and brought her to safety. Their fellowship after that was unbreakable, though no bond of romance flowed between them. She made the arrows, he fired the bow, and together, they feasted on their victories and kept the woods safe from unwanted intrusion.
Even now, there are signs of their friendship. Hidden across the forest, miniature carvings of a wolf skull and a bat can be found in places that meant something to them.
