This guide is a simplified overview of all changes in the Caves & Cliffs: Part I updates (Bedrock Edition 1.17.x releases), which assumes at least some familiarity with the Nether Update (Bedrock Edition 1.16.x releases). Note that some of the spawning and generation requirements for some mobs and blocks changed from this update to Part II, refer to that page for more up-to-date locations.
