The third game drop of 2026 is an upcoming, currently unnamed Minecraft:game drop that will release in the third quarter of 2026. It focuses on the Minecraft:dappled forest biome, adding poplar trees with three different colors of Minecraft:leaves, a new wood type and new nature blocks. It also adds Minecraft:wool stairs and slabs alongside a new structure, the Minecraft:abandoned camp. It was announced at Minecraft:Minecraft Live – May 2026.

Some features of this drop will be released earlier as an Minecraft:experiment in Minecraft:Bedrock Edition 26.40.

Poplar wood set:

- Grows into a poplar tree.

- Comes in red, orange, and yellow varieties.
- Emits ambient sounds when attached to any log and next 3 similar type of leaves in its four horizontal directions.

A mushroom variant found naturally on poplar and fallen poplar trees.
Comes in two sizes.
- Template:Ctrl Minecraft:bone meal on a small shelf mushroom grows it into a large one.
- Breaking a large shelf mushroom drops two shelf mushroom items.
Can only be place on full sides of blocks.
Is bouncy when fallen on by entities.
Can be used as an ingredient for Minecraft:mushroom stew, Minecraft:suspicious stew or Minecraft:rabbit stew.

A Minecraft:tree that generates in dappled forests.
Sometimes having Minecraft:shelf mushrooms on it.
Comes in three different colors of leaves, orange, red, and yellow, randomly chosen at generation.

A structure that generates on the surface of the Overworld.
The tent consist mainly of Minecraft:white wool stairs and Minecraft:fences.
Its appearance and structure can be varied depending on the biome, such as a stone shelter, having Minecraft:leaves or Minecraft:cobwebs, a Minecraft:tree, a pond, or a Minecraft:crop farm.

A bed variant that lets players sleep but doesn't set their respawn point.
Can be crafted using 3 Minecraft:hay bales.<Subject to change></Subject to change>
Can be stacked to 16.
Can only be used once and breaks after being slept in.

Can now be crafted with any combination of two mushrooms instead of specifically requiring one Minecraft:red mushroom and one Minecraft:brown mushroom.
