Kalphite Carapace Chest is a Dragonwilds:Power level 7 Dragonwilds:Ranged Dragonwilds:armour that can be crafted at an Dragonwilds:Armour Bench. The recipe is unlocked by purchasing and using the Dragonwilds:Chitinous Carapace vestige from Dragonwilds:Iasadair - The Merchant.

+Perhaps it’s a little strange to wear the skin of your enemy, but who am I to judge? The Kalphite are certainly an imposing bunch and donning armour comprising of the most resilient parts of them certainly hits that survival game vibe, even if it is a little grim.
+The shell of a Kalphite is strong and durable, a thick layer between them and the rest of the world. It keeps them safe, yes, but closed off from sensation and feeling, an emotional gulf between them and everyone else.
+Fortunately, they’re insects and couldn’t care any less.
+You, at least, are in possession of vocal chords and the ability to interact with others. You can also take off your armour,  should you ever need to—something not recommended in the middle of battle, no matter how much you’d like to improve your emotional bond with something.
+It is worth noting, however, that there is an unexpected side effect to this armour. Dragons find you extra crunchy.
