The GDC build is a Minecraft:developer version of Template:Edition that was showcased at the Game Developers' Conference 2012.<ref>Template:Ytl</ref><ref>Template:Ytl</ref> This version is based off Minecraft:Java Edition Beta 1.6.6.

- Changed menu logo from File:Xbox 360 Edition logo 1.png to File:Xbox 360 Edition logo 2.png.
- New loading screen with hints.
