StarCitizen:Cloud Imperium Games Texas, LLC

Template:InfoboxNeue Cloud Imperium Games Texas operates the CIG Austin office.

It hosts the community museum.

The first offices of CIG in Austin were in in the basement of a historic home which housed the archeology department of an environmental firm, near UT, at 17th and Rio Grand. CIG remained there for about a year until it became overcrowded with almost 40 people, with PCs having to be carried over one's head rather than in front due to the lack of space and stern looks when one would bump into someone's chair, with CIG moving to a new office in Bee Cave near Austin in January 2014 where they remain as of 2024.<ref name=":1">Star Citizen Live: Meet the Devs - Publishing and Corporate Technology, Star Citizen, YouTube, 9 February 2024</ref>

Moving CIG Austin to a larger facility that will support expanded development, with more room for employees was the 11 Million StarCitizen:stretch goal.<ref>Template:Cite RSI</ref>

Expansion

From 11/1/2018 to 2/1/2019 the office was renovated at a cost of $202,000.<ref>Cloud Imperium Games Expansion, Project #: EABPRJB9802050 , Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation</ref>
