Featured servers are community servers for Bedrock Edition that are partnered with Mojang Studios and are accessible from the in-game Minecraft:server list. In the console versions, they are the only servers accessible besides Minecraft:Realms. They contain minigames of varying sizes and types, custom maps and spawn hubs, and they are highly customized with add-ons. Featured servers require a Microsoft account<ref name="btfaq">Template:Mcnet</ref> and a paid online multiplayer subscription service on consoles only. However, they have microtransactions that can be purchased from their own sections of the Minecraft:Marketplace.
Server owners with registered business identities can apply for the partner program. Mojang Studios provides partnered servers with backend support.<ref name="btfaq" />
