This guide is a simplified overview of all the changes in the Minecraft:Better Together Update (Template:BE 1.2.x releases), which assumes at least some familiarity with the Minecraft:Discovery Update (Bedrock Edition 1.1.x releases).

Mobs

  • Passive creatures can be tamed using seeds.
  • Has the ability to fly and occasionally rest on the ground.
  • If there is music playing from a Minecraft:record player nearby, they will dance accordingly.
    • Will dance even if they are on the player's shoulders.
  • They will die after eating a Minecraft:cookie.

  • Now avoids cactus, fire and lava.
  • Adjusted the color it flashes when attacked.
  • Increased stride stability when moving up stairs while riding certain creatures.
