A boss is a powerful, usually unique monster, that is fought to accomplish an objective. They are encountered in quests and certain regions. Some bosses are required to access new regions such as Dragonwilds:Velgar.
Lodestones can interfere with certain bosses spawning, such as the Dragonwilds:Garou King.
