Biography
Pre-series
At some point prior to the story, Evan had an encounter with Minecraft:zombie pigmen. Whatever this entailed, it left him in his own words "traumatized," and reluctant to ever travel to Minecraft:the Nether again.
Volume 1

While he is working on the arena, the girls arrive, announcing that they have the last wither skeleton skull. After some time, Evan apologizes to Minecraft:Tyler and explains that the group did not want to fight the wither without him, and Tyler apologizes in return about the change of time zone. Evan gifts Tyler the Minecraft:Wither star, which Tyler puts in a newly built beacon. He then suggests that the group go to the End. They eventually arrive there, where Evan helps destroy the end crystals.

Bully
Throughout the second volume, Evan is repeatedly shown being picked on and tormented by a school bully. The reasons given for this animosity are never given, but it is implied to have been ongoing for an extended time before the story. Whenever this bully is around, Evan will often lose his temper or be manipulated into whatever the bully desires at that moment. Over the course of the comic, he develops the courage to stand up to this oppression, him and his friends successfully riding him in the moment.
