It is not easy splicing reptile and mammal together, their very nature fights against their biology and they would rather perish upon emergence than live with such a hybrid nature. It’s a shame really, the little pups are quite cute. I think Viika would like one as a pet, it might keep my sibling grounded and anchored a little more to our frame of reference.
