Trivia

  • Both of the main characters' true names have something to do with the concept of endings. Fin is Latin for "end" and Minecraft:Ultimo is a conjugation of "Ultimare," which is Latin for "to come to an end."
    • The city of Minecraft:Telos, the setting of much of the story, follows this theme, named after a Greek term referring to something's ultimate purpose.
    • Most of the names of the minor characters in the book are the word for "end" in different languages.
  • At one point during production, the book was entitled Minecraft: Endgame. This was changed late enough in development that a cover exists with the name, referred to as finalized.<ref>Template:Citation</ref><ref>Template:Cite Instagram</ref>
