Minecraft: The End is the fourth Minecraft novel. It is authored by Catherynne M. Valente and was published by Del Rey Books on December 3, 2019.<ref name="TheEndNovel">Template:Citation</ref> An audiobook was released the same day, with narration provided by Minecraft:Emily Shaffer.<ref name="TheEndNovel" />

Trivia

• Both of the main characters true names have something to do with the end. Fin is Latin for "end" and Ultimo is a conjugation of "Ultimare," which is Latin for "to come to an end."
• At one point during production, the book was entitled Minecraft: Endgame. This was changed late enough in development that a cover exists with the name, referred to as finalized.<ref>Template:Citation</ref><ref>Template:Cite Instagram</ref>
