v0.9.0 alpha build 5 is the fifth build version released for v0.9.0.
Changes
- Loading textures in the background to avoid hiccups at runtime.
- Minecraft:Tall grass is not flammable anymore.
- Added a recipe for Minecraft:emeralds.
- Compiled LevelDB with more optimizations.
- Somewhat faster Minecraft:torch placing.
- Improved (again) block breaking Minecraft:particles.
- Optimized rendering of Minecraft:particles.
- Flat worlds can now be customized by editing the Minecraft:options.txt file.<ref>Template:Tweet</ref>
Fixes
9 bugs fixed
- Fixed multiplayer.
- Fixed a crash in explosion.
- The sky doesn't become dark anymore when swimming/exploring shallow caves.
- Fixed Minecraft:water not creating Minecraft:obsidian when generated with the world.
- Fixed incorrect light updates.
- Fixed Minecraft:TNT not rebuilding graphics.
- Fixed Minecraft:TNT not exploding other Minecraft:TNT.
- Can now spawn Minecraft:spruce trees from Minecraft:spruce sapling.
- Fixed black faces on Minecraft:fences, Minecraft:doors and Minecraft:trapdoors next to Minecraft:walls.
