Usage

Template:For Wool stairs come in sixteen colors, which are white, light gray, gray, black, brown, red, orange, yellow, lime, green, cyan, light blue, blue, purple, magenta, and pink. Just like the wool block, the white variant serves as the undyed block. Wool stairs of any color can be re-dyed into any other color.

Wool stairs are easily mined, highly flammable, and offer little resistance against Minecraft:explosions.

Vibration occlusion

Contrary to popular belief, wool stairs cannot be used to block Minecraft:vibrations from reaching nearby Minecraft:sculk sensors. If wool stairs are placed between a sensor and a vibration source, the sensor is somehow still able to detect vibrations behind it. If wool stairs are placed between a sensor and a Minecraft:sculk shrieker, the sensor is able to alert the shrieker. This also applies to allays hearing note blocks and wardens hearing sounds.

Although they don't work for occluding, sculk sensors are not able to detect the placing and breaking of wool stairs, as well as entities Minecraft:walking, Minecraft:sprinting, or Minecraft:jumping on top of it. They are also unable to detect items dropped on wool stairs, or wool stairs itself dropped in item form.

Fuel

Template:IN, wool stairs can be used as fuel in Minecraft:furnaces and their variants, smelting 0.5 items per block of wool stairs.
