Some people just like to watch the world burn… and you can too, with these new handy fire oils! That’s right, just lob one of these beauties at your enemies and watch them ignite. Enjoy their screams as their skin boils away and breathe in the delightful aroma of a fresh barbecue!
Fire oil, like snake oil, was once the creation of a travelling merchant to Ashenfall. She had journeyed to Brynmoor alongside some of the Saradominist settlers, and with her she brought pungent unguents, elucidating elixirs, marvellous medicines, and weapons of localised destruction.
When her wares summoned the call for refunds, she would dazzle the onlookers with a sudden fiery display and then disappear into the alleyways until she had been forgotten. She would then return in one of a staggering array of disguises, until the tragic day when her wagon hit a pothole during a quick getaway and her many, many, bottles of fire oils decided to sing the song of their people.
Fortunately, even though she and everything she owned, tragically found itself reduced to smouldering atoms, her recipe lived on and found more conventional uses.
